Art Exhibition in, on & over the River Thames
8th – 22nd August 2008

Pontoon was a unique and exciting exhibition on the River Thames, Oxford.

This event was the first in Oxford to utilise the river, a pontoon and a national monument as an exhibition venue, showcasing twelve artists, who reacted to the unusual exhibiting space in an innovative and diverse way. The works included an aircraft carrier, a floating infrasound amplifier, and a site-specific interactive light piece installed underneath Folly Bridge.
